Two Stage - Designated Area Sponsored Visa process
Australian Government announced introduction of two stage visa process for Designated Area Sponsored migrants w.e.f 1 July 2006. With the introduction of the new system prospective migrants with sponsors living in designated areas of Australia can no longer apply for the subclass 139 category of permanent migration visas. They will now will have to go through the two stage process to attain permanent residency in Australia.
